The shop name NO.813 derives from Japan’s country code 81, and Tokyo’s area code 03.
It is a pop-up shop that opens occasionally with “Tokyo” for its name, based on the city WTAPS was born and places its roots in.
In this space created by the WTAPS Director Tetsu Nishiyama, the director expresses his activities and creations from his various channels by annexing and condensing them.
This time, NO.813 will open at Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building, a place that can be called a landmark of Tokyo’s Shinjuku.
During the timeframe of this pop-up, WTAPS will be offering a pre-release of collaborations with brands that have their own unique identity.
First, the NO.813 limited exclusive releases with the long-established Japanese workwear brand Toraichi. The last collaboration with the brand was in 15AW; this round takes the Pilot Jumper and adds WTAPS details, along with the signature NO.813 embroidered onto the sleeve. Featuring boa lining and collar for cold weather protection, and a Toraichi original antistatic twill fabric for the exterior. Nikka Pants have also been newly added this time. These pants have roomy thighs with a pleated waist, and equipped with adjustor belts for the hem.
The second collaboration with HERSCHEL SUPPLY, offers 3 models made of lightweight, and high-impact resistant materials, in the form of a wheeled bag, a 2-way bag, and a shoulder bag. These items can handle a wide range of scenes, with a storage capacity larger than expected from their compact looks. The lineup that harmonizes the simple yet modern HERSCHEL SUPPLY products with WTAPS traits, will be available in olive drab and camouflage.
Items from the first ever collaboration with HUMAN MADE® will also be available as a pre-release at NO.813.
6 items consisting of a jacket, hooded sweatshirts, cutsews, and a cap, are planned for this capsule collection that fuses HUMAN MADE® creations created precisely with a unique approach from masterfully understanding vintage clothing, with WTAPS’ concepts. Original graphics have been drawn for this collaboration and applied to the items packed with various fanatical details that have been finished carefully in every process from the materials down to their construction.
Shinjuku, a city that represents Tokyo.
In a corner of Shinjuku, a city that accepts the energy of the various people that visit it, we hope for you to be able to feel the emotions from each angle behind the concept of NO.813 that expresses the influences that cities create, and the cities nurture.
