and what happens today
tomorrow
becomes something that happened before
and when this repeats on
it is something of the past.

The reason to live everyday
is because tomorrow comes.

If you cannot live the moment
there is no tomorrow.

For the EX18 LAMF catalog shoot
we made set up a room inside the atelier.
We produce the WTAPS catalog
under the notion that it is “a piece of work”.
This makes it our 4th catalog and it is
created as a collaboration between
different photographers and hairstylists each season.

Collaboration between artists is something exciting.
Mixing the image each has and the process of making
it happen acts as a catalyst for further inspiration.

A “thing” is only
a “thing” no matter what.
It will eventually decay regardless of value.
A “thing” exists
because someone made it.
Since it was “made” there was a reason.
There is no spirit in making things with no meaning.
It there is no spirit, you cannot convey that feeling to anyone.

We hope that this year will be a good one for all.

How is everyone doing
now that a new year has started?
The atelier which no one was at
for a few days
has become very chilly.
As if it is resting its body that was abused last year.

Blackflag will be open from the 2nd.
There will be some special items.
Look forward to it.
