Title: All Things WTAPS./347th entry「Take a step back and have a look」

When something small catches your eye and you feel that thing is really nice, I think it is not just about that particular detail, but it is caused by the view you get from noticing it.

For example, even for coordinates.  You button it up, fix the collar, and adjust the sleeves.  It is normal to feel a satisfaction of how things seem perfect when you are just looking at each point, but there are many times when you take a step back and the balance just does not seem right with everything else.

I pondered about such things while doing the shoot for the 18SS exhibition look book.

Title: All Things WTAPS./346th entry「Angle」

Maybe it is an observant eye or sensibility, but I really get impressed when I listen to people speaking that perceive different information than I do from an item.
Especially there are many times like this when I am listening to the Director talk about things; it may seem normal, but I think it is not, since most of the time the expressions of thoughts that comes out in words are way over what I expected, from actually finding a strong interest in an element that seems so plain that you may not notice, and building a tower of ideas from a hint, or from thoughts associated with it.
For someone like me that has never thought the expression of a fabric depending on the weave may look like a graphic, it is always a new discovery when I listen to what is being said from such a perspective.

Title: All Things WTAPS./345th entry「All 138 pages」

The very first catalog was EX15. In other words, 2007 AW. This makes it exactly 20 catalogs made during 10 years. If there is anyone that has collected all of them, I think they must be taking up quite a space on the book rack?

The EX35 catalog will be distributed at our dealers from this weekend. The pages have increased, the binding has changed, and the size is also larger. Each time there was a change made, I think of how it was good we did it, as I look at the completed product.

That is probably because it is the fruition of the desire to evolve, arriving at that point because of the accumulation of the past. There is no doubt that it is exciting to be able to see new things, or new changes, no matter when it takes place.
