Title: All Things WTAPS./103rd entry「Relax」

Most people get nervous when asked if it is ok to take a picture. I am terrible, my face gets all frozen to the point I even ask myself why so bad.
But, by being allowed to take a photo several times and both parties start getting used to it, the people being photographed seem to gradually lower their guard.
I am happy when I can capture such a relaxed expression, so each time I try to make them laugh somehow, but this is pretty difficult.
There is always something to learn when I see people that are good friends doing a shoot. I happened to think of how maybe my nervousness is being conveyed by trying so hard to make them relax and relax.

Title: All Things WTAPS./202nd entry「Preparation for summer」

July has already passed its midpoint and this is the season where I worry about washings while in fear of thinking how it will be getting hotter and hotter from here.
So, I feel many people will going to summer getaways during their days off.
Summer getaway. Such a nice ring to it. Evading the heat and enjoying summer.
Such an ideal concept.

Don't you think the good thing about summer getaways are how you have to prepare considering both the heat and coolness?
Of course your clothes and shoes, along with pain killers, ointments, beach sandals, and also maybe a shemagh for when it gets cool.
Items which usually do not mix in the daily life all together in one bag. That feeling of going out.

Being stoked from this non-daily routine; something you are not sure to toss in the bag further adds to this feeling.

Title: All Things WTAPS./201st entry「It was in 2006」

The WTAPS atelier is the name for the place that used to be in Jingumae.
I still remember clearly the first time I visited there. Especially the shock like buzz!! sound of the old school doorbell. The first memory I remember is how my heart was about to jump out.
Then, once I stepped inside, the moment I saw the huge pile of VHS tapes, CDs, and cassettes.
For some reason I got very stoked. Once you see something like that, it is natural for people to get caught up reading the labels.
After starting work at WTAPS, this is something I saw a lot, so I feel that is statistically correct.
Each time I saw such action, I would sympathize inside with that person "I know, I know".
