Title: All Things WTAPS./182nd entry「Working warmth」

If you bundle up by the seasons,
in autumn around the beginning of October you are good with cold weather protection of just a knit and muffler with no outer.
Mid-November is also autumn with mornings and evenings getting cold but not during the day so I ponder about maybe it might be time to throw on a melton coat.
I feel like I am a homeothermic animal that focuses on adjusting what to wear depending on the day to day temperatures and now during the start of winter is when I feel this the most.

Just because the temperatures drop suddenly, wearing a down jacket mid October is not cool.
Just because the temperatures increased suddenly, it is not cool walking around in just a cutsew around the end of October.
If you follow the temperatures that you feel with your body and make that the priority, I feel such a rule would make sense.
Well, actually regardless of talking all that seasonal weather talk, I have to confess I am bound by the calendar.

But, seeing things with different uses appear one by one maybe somewhat cathartic; that is another complicated story, but I think of things like that in winter.

Title: All things WTAPS./181st entry「Chairs」

There are various types of chairs at the studio.
The Herman Miller Aeron Chair is one of the types
used at each one's desk.
It is a multi-functional desk chair that is black with a dignified presence.

The other day a different type of the Aeron Chair arrived.
It is a shape which fits slightly taller desks better than the usual.
Just a chair, but I feel it is one of the very important tools for work.
Especially for desk work people since it is where you spend most of your day.

This new one fits good and it is suited for long desk work.
Things proceed smoothly due to the lessening of strain on the body.
Surrounded in wonderful things, and by using them to their fullest potential,
everyday I think of how to strive to become a better maker of things.

Going back to what I started talking about, this chair is said to be 94% recyclable.
Hats off to the environmental measures which seem unusual from its looks, comfort you
feel once you start using it, and the fabulousness of the design.

Title: All things WTAPS./180th entry「Happy Thanksgiving」

Since starting this kind of work, I have tried not to have
what they say in society "a line between work and private,"
I think about work even when I get home,
and even while I am at work I think about home.
Saying such a thing may sound a little sloppy, mixing work and private.
But, since this work is my living, what experienced up to now
becomes the basis of this activity of producing that has its
roots in the daily life, so I feel it is definitely normal.

Instead of drawing "lines" you need to pay fine caution to
"switching" and "adjusting". It is so fine it is almost easier to draw
a line, but this is something you cannot be caught slipping or
finding an easy way out.
The purpose is to do things, think about things, and take those
actions at the best timing, so the quality elevates of the daily life in
both work and private.
If you get caught slipping, that would be putting the cart before the horse.

It is assumed that the staff which is together for a long time, shares this same feeling,
but it is also the same for our families that support us.
I think each of us have a different daily life environment, and the problems we
all have are various. For staff from a completely different background to work
at a same place as others which are striving for the same goal, the families'
understanding is a must.

The other day we had a Thanksgiving dinner at the studio.
Like this dinner, we try to create reasons so that
every once in a while all of us can gather face to face.
At each of these gatherings, I truly feel how our work is made possible
from the support of our families we spend time together with.
