It is not so extreme in a way that you cannot write
without that one or you cannot get motivated without that one
but still, I think
stationary is something that people choose based on their preferences.
Stationary like pens and notebooks are something I feel that are
intimate to most people’s daily lives.
Especially pens come in all sorts of variations like brand, type,
color of ink and the function and price vary also;
they are an item where you can somewhat easily tailor to your taste.
Of course I have my cluttered preferences that I may only understand
but it is not monomaniacal; it is more like a simple rule above
“pretty much either works okay”.
But if I have to give a specific criterion that has to be met,
it would be to have a set group of the same pens.
For things that are slim and thin, the thought of how the
beauty of group theory absolutely exists may seem quite monomaniacal
but the ball pens released this season are displayed at the
GIP-STORE not individually but all lined up
and I felt this was something truly beautiful.
Of course it is also fun to observe the
luxury pens at a place like Itoya from all angles
and to be deferentially attended.
But I really think there is another form of enjoyment you can have
by looking through a different set of eyes than when you look at jewelry items.
