So much time has passed since I last blogged
and there is so much to report about it is out of hand.
There is too much to talk about,
but let me start by reporting about last week.

Yeah I know
saying something like that after a long gap
from the get go may leave an impression
of sounding high and mighty
but this is really how it was so I don’t have a choice.
Meetings, shoots, business trips
during this flying around all over the place
a turning point for us
was the start of the WTAPS fall/winter collection
and at the same time the renewal opening of the HOODS Kanazwa store.
This was the second store, after the previous
Fukuoka renewal opening.
Location was moved to a street level
from the outskirts of the Tatemachi shopping district
to a slightly central location
and has a different presence compared to when it was at the previous semi-underground location.
On the day of the reception held
the locals of course showed up
with supporters from other places
packing the place making it a lively deal.
Thank you
to all that was involved and to all the people
that made it out to the reception.
Also I really appreciate the ongoing support.

FYI, for the novelty goods this time around,
I asked the people at Kagafu/Fumuroya
to collaborate.

Some of you may know this and have eaten this before,
but it is called “Fuyaki Oshiru”
which has the ingredients of the likes of miso soup and osumashi
inside the Fumuroya specialty fuyaki (at a glance it looks like monaka);
to make it, you just soak it in hot water
and this fuyaki is delicious!
Soft, yet has texture, with good flavor.
And to top it off, it is simple.
Definitely order some to try it.

Right around this time of the opening day for Kanazawa
the temperatures dropped in various regions and has started to get cold.
Fall is coming. Right after this, winter is waiting.
Including Kanazawa, the WTAPS fall/winter collection has started at the various locations.
