Title: “Contemplating”

I saw an American friend who had this
and bought it in LA.
This was made for YouTube called the
Flip Video

which is a digital video camera.
It is palm size
cute and easy to use
with a toy-like look
and an easy to buy price of $149.
2GB that can record 60minutes.
The filmed footage is in MPEG format
and on the side of the body is an USB port
plug it into the computer
and instant download.
I am contemplating on uploading video or not.

Title: Stuff tales/18th round “location scout”

My camera is the Ricoh GR Digital.
The factory case is all scratched up with stickers.
The strap is also factory with a patch sewn on.
I have been using it for a while
so I am somewhat attached to it.
It has broken about 3 times,
the grip is worn out, and the power button’s color is faded
because I use it almost everyday.
With this camera
pretty much everyday
I roam around the atelier with something in hand
looking for a place to take a pic for this blog
and if its sunny, I shoot mostly at the window where the sun shines in.
When you place something in bright natural light
depth and detail of the item shows
with a soft
and pleasant
feeling.
This time I shot the UNION pants.
The characteristic pin striping throughout
with the white stitching around the waist does the trick.

Title: Stuff tales/17th round “cool”

After coming back to Japan
it seemed that gradually
the warmth is changing to heat.
In the closet of you people
summer items should be starting to show up
and the seasonal change of clothing should be stable now.
Shorts are an item that represents summer.
In the picture is the item called LOCO which is a knicker
made of a cool material that feels fresh
and the textile is not loud
with a sort of hand made feel
giving it a nice, safe and sound nostalgic feeling.
In Japan for older people,
wearing shorts
is not something common
but for some it fits their lifestyle
and they pull it off nice.
Amongst those that I hang out with
I have a good impression of
Mr. Katsu Yoshida
wearing shorts very nicely.

Title: Stuff tales/16th round “hangar”

OK,
from the Extra edition
back to the regular version, the first to introduce will be
something that is used for delivery and it is not for sale;
this is the hangar.
In wood
for some reason
there is class
warmth
and luxury.
For something as an extra to come along with what you buy
it is the most expensive piece
but when you hang something on it, it makes a huge difference.
That item that can create a bad silhouette
there are 2 types
one for shirts and one for jackets.
The key feature is
depending on what you hang the thickness and size is different.
