Title: Extra edition/1st round

Right now I am in LA.
It is sunny.
Summer is
right around the corner.
So this time
unlike the usual style
I decided to do it like a report.
Just arrived.
Today is the first day so
it is going around greeting.
Chris from UNION, UNION
a company we deal with in LA,
Eddie from UNDEFEATED
UNDEFEATED
,
a place I have personally collaborated several times,
keeping people updated, and having meetings.
Well that is how it goes for now.

Title: Stuff tales/15th round “Bonanza!”

To be able to collaborate
with artists, manufacturers, and various people
that respect and understand
the brand called WTAPS
gives a good reason to look back and think again about
quality, pride, and inspiration which is the foundation of making stuff.
The focus of WTAPS as a brand is clothing, but
there are some small items
that fills an important position of support.
This time I would like to introduce
small collaboration items.

A resin key holder that is simple and fun like a giveaway bonus gift.
The Bonanza, made in collaboration with Masa Sculp,
With its pop look and “something lurking behind that cuteness”
inherited from the Low Blow…
Have you people noticed this?

Title: EDIT.

Half of the exhibition has passed by.
Using the items created as tools
we will go on until the next season’s exhibition.
The exhibition is one the events during the season that is like a mountain
to clear, but right behind this one, stand 2, maybe 3, more to overcome.
From this point
it is the second step in the editing process
where in the first step editing is done making the items,
the next is to take the created items,
and edit how they are going to be used.

Title: Home Sign

Once a year
did you know that the text
noted on the WTAPS label changes?
To be able to feel the change of times
subtly
without really noticing it
softly
and inconspicuously
it is changed.
But
At the entrance of the atelier
there is a large hand written home sign that welcomes people.
This is something that was started
when I began making the atelier.
This is to remind me of that feeling I had when I started this.

Title: Look Book

The EX17 Fall/Winter exhibition has started.
But
at the same time the catalog making process begins.
Using models
testing out many coordination fitting tests
we choose the few styles that will be used for the catalog.
like for photography, at the atelier
we create a simple studio to do this.
